15mm Sci-Fi Terrain
Although they've been featured in a few games now, I thought I'd throw out a blog entry to spotlight some nice 15mm sci-fi buildings I completed recently.
These are buildings from Ground Zero Games that I picked up second-hand but "new in package", in the summer. After assembly they were based on plasticard and sprayed black, then painted GW Codex Grey and drybrushed with Fortress Grey. After that, rust streaks were added using thinned GW Dark Flesh and selective washes applied using GW Badab Black wash. Windows were painted with GW Ice Blue and a mix of Ice Blue and Regal Blue. GW Dead Grass flock was added and the models sealed with Testors Dullcote. Finally a gloss varnish was applied to the windows.
