| Mi-24 Hind D from QRF. Metal bits are very soft. I think the molds are old as the resin was badly pitted. It is however, the only 1:100 scale Hind out there. There are a few details I had to add using green stuff that aren't sculpted onto the model. |

Chris - I painted the Soviet infantry a while ago and am having trouble remembering what I did. I know the base coat is vallejo model color Russian uniform and dry brushed with Vallejo Green Brown. I then washed everything with agrthrax earthshade. Not sure what I did for a highlight. Helmet is Russian green from vallejo.
Hi, I really dig those figs! I've always had a soft spot for Russian kit! IIRC Revell makes a plastic Hind in 1:100. Might be 1:144, though.
I'm a fan of throwing down against Soviet kit, or with it. I'm working on a bunch of 6mm right now, but this stuff looks freakin' cool.
Great work, Mike. Especially for dealing with that Hind kit.
