Yes, that's a load of Maschinen Krieger z.b.v.3000 / SF3D stuff, most of which just arrived by post...
I've been a fan of Ma.K. and the futuristic stylings of Sensei Kow Yokoyama for some time. We've mainly used Ma.K. models in a twisted "Berlin '46" (think World War 2.5) universe that we came up with several years ago. In fact there are some of my Ma.K. conversions and repaints on Displaced Miniatures going back to 2005!
Anyway, 1/35 is the scale of choice for Ma.K. gaming and when I saw this lot on ebay, I had to move heaven and earth to get it, including asking my wife's cousin to bid on it for me (seller wouldn't accept bids from Canadians and had disabled communication through ebay, how messed up is that??)
I'm thinking of a big game, maybe 40 suits per side, plus the Nutcracker, a Falke or two, an Oscar, the Gladiator... on Conscript Greg's awesome desert terrain table... cool!!

Oh my! I thought I was a bit daft buying ONE of those boxes of 24 Melusine power armour dudes... (seriously, what am I going to do with 24 of them?) You ARE insane!
That just awesome, I'm also a big M.a.k fan, how much did you pay for that lot? if you don't mind me asking, I have 4 or 5 120mm SAFS and AFS in my stash
I respect your level of commitment to SF3D Gaming.
Looking forward to seeing some AAR's!
What rule set are you thinking of for this?
Ehhh... the two 1/20 Falkes, 1/35 Nutcracker, 24 1/35 Melusines, 27 1/35 Fireballs, and 10 1/35 SAFS suits came in a lot for $175USD (the eBay seller also threw in a 1/20 "Oskar" to compensate for late dispatch)
A pretty good discount from retail I think.
Holy cow, that is a big lot of Ma.K!
Seriously looking forward to seeing this game played. Are you going to add in some "soft" infantry too? DAK would look the part with some gun swaps...
@Peabody
On the maschinenkrueger.com forums there is a discussion about a game at Origins that a member wrote simple rules for. I've asked to get a copy once ready. There was also an SF3D boardgame that might be suitable.
@lasgunpacker
Yes, had thought of adding some "crunchies", but not of painting any new stuff ;-)
We have some 40mm modern figures already painted that we might use with the suits.
As a proud purveyor of New Insane Projects, I say "Bravo!". Plus, further amortization of my desert terrain is always welcome.
Yeah, very good deal, are you going to re paint the SAFs, can't wait to see how this developes.
