1:100 A-10 from Revell |
Soviet Inf from Peter Pig |
T-72's from QRF in one of Byron's excellent storage boxes |
T-64's from QRF w/ ERA |
ZSU 23-4 with scratch built gun because QRF didn't send one. This a blessing in disguise when one considers the quality of QRF gun barrels. |
BMP 2's from QRF w/ replacement barrel's |
Great stuff, I'm always tempted to try cold war in 15mm (next to my 6mm). :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat work Mike! I didn't realize they had the T-64s with the ERA. Those are beauties.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Hind! Sweet.
Would you mind sharing how you painted your Soviet Infantry?
ReplyDeleteThanks.
Lovely work Mike. That Hind is a beast...
ReplyDeleteNice job Mike!
ReplyDeleteCool stuff!
ReplyDeleteAwesome work on them all. I love the look of a Hind and yours is fantastic
ReplyDeleteThanks guys.
ReplyDeleteChris - I painted the Soviet infantry a while ago and am having trouble remembering what I did. I know the base coat is vallejo model color Russian uniform and dry brushed with Vallejo Green Brown. I then washed everything with agrthrax earthshade. Not sure what I did for a highlight. Helmet is Russian green from vallejo.
Hi, I really dig those figs! I've always had a soft spot for Russian kit! IIRC Revell makes a plastic Hind in 1:100. Might be 1:144, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of throwing down against Soviet kit, or with it. I'm working on a bunch of 6mm right now, but this stuff looks freakin' cool.
ReplyDeleteGreat work, Mike. Especially for dealing with that Hind kit.
